An Experience Tennessee Ambassador is someone who represents the South Central Tennessee region well through their photos, videos, and blogs on social media. It can be someone who fancies themselves as a foodie, an outdoor adventure seeker, a historian, or someone who simply loves our beautiful state of Tennessee. Ultimately, it is someone who makes us want to go out and Experience Tennessee.

We're looking for a team of people from all over the 13-county South Central Tennessee region to be Experience Tennessee Ambassadors. We want to feature your amazing adventures and talent, so we're looking for people who are exploring, photographing, and posting about the outdoors, dining experiences, shopping experiences, festivals, attractions, and all things Tennessee. As an Experience Tennessee Ambassador, you'll receive:

• Experience Tennessee swag (t-shirt, stickers, cap, and other things throughout your service)

• Experience Tennessee Ambassador Credentials

• Experience Tennessee Ambassador Service Pin

• Usage for an Experience Tennessee Digital Badge to use on your website

• You'll be invited to attend various "FAM" opportunities across the region (familiarization tours)

• Featured on our website as an Experience Tennessee Ambassador with following instructions and profile

• Featured on our social media platforms, we will tag you and introduce you to our followers

• Featured on our blog (we'll share your blog post from your blog if you are a blogger)

• You will also be able to use the title "Experience Tennessee Ambassador" on your social accounts and website

• We will also provide you with a letter of recommendation (by request) outlining your time as an ambassador

The ideal Experience Tennessee Ambassador is someone who is passionate about the beauty of our state, small businesses, and exploring the area. We want positive people who radiate positivity and share their talent to help promote our 13-county region here in South Central Tennessee.

HOW TO BECOME AN AMBASSADOR

​

What you'll be required to do as an Experience Tennessee Ambassador:

​

• Fill out the application

• Live in or near the 13 counties of the South Central Tennessee Region (List of Counties) and willing to travel within the South Central Tennessee Region for assignments.

• Follow us on all social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, and TikTok)

• Use the hashtag #ExperienceTN in your related posts

• Tag us in your related photos

• Write a blog post

• Create the content on as many platforms that you use

• Regular post about the region ( 5-10 posts representing our brand per month)

• Share our content at least 1 to 3 times per week

• Help promote our trails (requests will be sent periodically)

• Potentially be a guest on the podcast

• Be willing to sign up for coverage requests of certain festivals, attractions, restaurants, etc.

• Assist in directing interested parties to our team for becoming Members of SCTTA

• Keep related posts clean, no profanity, nudity, or controversial language

• List that you are an Experience Tennessee Ambassador on your Instagram and tag us

• Wear your swag when possible and feature in post when appropriate opportunities arise

We are not looking for essay-style applications, rather just tell us why you represent Experience Tennessee attractions, outdoors, festivals, food, and other small businesses.
