About the event

The Caverns and Mike Farris of The Screamin’ Cheetah Wheelies present a new music festival with camping called Ride The Tide which will take place May 19-21, 2023. The festival gets its name from The Screamin’ Cheetah Wheelies 1993 hit song and fan favorite “Ride The Tide,” and features a line-up curated by Mike Farris himself, who is from nearby Winchester, TN.

“I’m really excited to give our fans a place they can call home in the beautiful Tennessee countryside, where we can all celebrate friends and good times together,” says Mike Farris. “It’s also great to invite all our favorite artists and musicians to come along for the ride and shine some light on them as well!”

The Ride The Tide Music Festival will take full advantage of everything The Caverns has to offer, from its scenic outdoor amphitheater and world famous underground music venue, to cave tours and the on-site campground.

Confirmed artists include The Screamin’ Cheetah Wheelies, Lucero, Foy Vance, North Mississippi Allstars, Ruthie Foster, Drivin' N Cryin', Eli "Paperboy" Reed, Jimmy Hall, Trigger Hippy, Them Vibes, Bonnie Bishop, Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown, Highwater, and more to come. Additionally, Mike Farris will host a Gospel Brunch on the Sunday of the festival.

On Saturday, Ride The Tide will feature a “Late Night Album Hour” with artists performing a soon-to-be-named classic rock album.

Tickets for Ride The Tide start at $150 and go on sale at 12p CT on Friday, December 16 at TheCaverns.com. VIP packages with lodging to and from the venue and more will also be offered. On-site overnight accommodations include primitive campsites at The Caverns campground, as well as a glamping experience at The Caverns new, secluded yurt village. Each yurt has a bathroom, microwave, mini-fridge, coffeemaker, private deck, fire ring, and two parking spots.
