Louise Block, a student at Sewanee, Rachel Swerske of Monteagle, and Julie Nickell of Tracy City will perform live with the Sewanee Symphony Orchestra on Friday, December 5, 2025, inside The Caverns underground concert hall.
Free tickets for residents of the South Cumberland region will be available beginning October 15 through the event ticket page. Doors will open at 6 p.m. Central Time and the performance will begin at 7 p.m. Seating is limited and an RSVP is required.
During the event all three finalists will compete for prizes including cash awards of one thousand dollars for first place, five hundred dollars for second place, and two hundred fifty dollars for third place. Additional prizes include concert tickets, official merchandise, and a professionally recorded video of each vocalist’s performance. A panel of judges will determine the three placements.
