As the leaves turn and the air grows crisp, we find there's no better time to explore the charming back roads of Tennessee. On our latest adventure, we discovered the quaint town of Lynnville, a hidden gem that beckons travelers with its picturesque streets and warm hospitality.

Walking through Lynnville feels like stepping into a storybook. The sidewalks, lined with inviting shops and the quaint train museum, offer a delightful stroll through this small town's heart. During our visit, we were greeted by the joyful sight of Colonel Littleton's elves, busily decking the town in festive Christmas decor. Their spirit and attention to detail added a magical touch to our experience.

No visit to Lynnville is complete without a stop at the Soda Pop Junction. Famous for their mouth-watering hamburgers and amiable staff, this soda fountain is a nostalgic trip back in time. With a menu that can satisfy any craving, it's a must-visit spot. Just a short walk away is The Lynnville Fried Pie Company, where the hardest decision is choosing from an array of homemade pies. Each one is a delicious work of art, so why choose just one? We suggest taking a few home to enjoy later.

Next, we popped into Colonel Littleton's shop, a treasure trove of handmade leather goods. The rich aroma of leather and the array of unique items make this a perfect place to find gifts, especially for the men in your life. While there, don't miss the opportunity to explore their library, filled with fascinating local history.

A visit to Lynnville wouldn't be complete without immersing oneself in the history and nostalgia of the train museum. Its rich heritage and intriguing displays, particularly the train exhibit, are a testament to the town's past.

Just a stone's throw from Lynnville is the Big Machine Distillery. This distillery is an ideal stop to stock up on spirits for holiday celebrations or to find that unique gift. The drive there is as enjoyable as the visit itself, with scenic views that are quintessentially Tennessee.

Lastly, a short drive from Lynnville and the distillery is the Milky Way Farm. This estate, steeped in local history and built on the legacy of chocolate, offers an array of events that you can book online. It's a testament to the unexpected surprises Tennessee has to offer.
