Get ready for three days of music, fun, food, games, camping, beer and whiskey. Joe & Martina are excited to walk onto the stage and enjoy the gathering of music fans. Looking forward to performing at the festival, Joe & Martina are also part of the social media and graphics team for the festival.
“We're playing Saturday (July 10) and we couldn't be more excited,” Joe & Martina said. “We are looking forward to live music. After a year of hardly any live music we are excited to hear the roar of a festival crowd and the chest pumping sound coming out of the PA system. Our favorite part of (the festival experience) is the gathering of true music fans. Nothing compares to the energy an amazing crowd brings. We're of course most excited about the music side of the festival, but we are also pumped about all the extra events going on, like the Ranch Rodeo we are having on Saturday at 11:30 a.m., awesome vendor and sponsor booths, cornhole tournaments and more.”
Originally from California, Joe & Martina made Tennessee their home. Growing up with an agricultural background prepared Joe & Martina for the intense routine in the entertainment business. Joe was active on his family farm harvesting crops and raising livestock and Martina was “a practicing equestrian and rodeo queen.” The couple met through their passion for music and married in 2012. The couple then moved to Nashville to further pursue their music career and express their art and talent.
One of the events Joe & Martina are looking forward to is the Ranch Rodeo.
Lynchburg Music Fest announced its first Ranch Rodeo as part of this year’s festivities. Ranch Rodeo is a traditional style of rodeo, with teams of cowboys or cowgirls from different ranches competing against each other in events based on the type of work they complete in everyday life. The events include Sorting, Trailer Loading, Team Doctoring, Branding and Bronc Riding. Get tickets for this event here.
Lynchburg Music Fest began to bring together top talent and up-and-coming musicians to Lynchburg, home of Jack Daniel Distillery, and to celebrate music, whiskey and small town America. The festival is a culmination of songwriter competitions in several neighboring cities leading up to the main event. Lynchburg Music Fest has expanded to partner with multiple distilleries in the region and more than 50 local vendors.
This year the fest will feature a Whiskey Row and Wine Circle to offer music fans tastes from several distilleries and wineries in the area. The Song Crafters Tent and a Best of Fest award with whiskey, wine, and food categories are also new this year.
Camping options are available onsite, with amenities including showers, parking, vendors.
