After nearly 29 years at the helm, founder Woody Deutsch handed over the handlebars in 2024. Robert McKee, a lifelong cyclist who grew up riding these very roads and trails, is now leading the shop into its next chapter. The Mountain Goat Trail is just a short ride from the shop. This paved, multi-use path runs along the old Mountain Goat Railroad bed and stretches about five miles between Sewanee and Monteagle. Thanks to the work of the Mountain Goat Trail Alliance, the trail continues to grow, with hopes of becoming a much longer route through South Central Tennessee.
