Harvesting Homegrown Delights: Exploring Family-Owned Farms in South Central Tennessee

Buckley Farms: A Farm-to-Table Experience

Just a short drive from the square in Fayetteville, The Market at Buckley Farm welcomes visitors with a warm smile and a white building that sits proudly in front of their 50-acre, multi-species farm in Lincoln County, TN. Jessica Buckley, along with her husband Eli and their four children, invites you into a unique farm-to-table experience.

Upon entering the store, you are immersed in a world of locally sourced, high-quality products, including beef, pork, poultry and eggs. The Buckleys raise the chicken and pork on pasture here at Buckley Farm. The beef they carry at The Market is grown by another Lincoln County producer, Deer Valley Farm. The commercial kitchen buzzes with activity, preparing homemade meals like the featured Gumbo on the day of our visit. The menu rotates, offering grab-and-go staples, a dessert of the week, and a variety of homemade breads, rolls, and cinnamon rolls—all made with an 80-year-old sourdough starter passed down from Eli's family.

Beyond their farm products, The Market at Buckley Farm proudly showcases local artisans' creations, from Carl Gleghorn's watercolors to beautiful wood and leather works, soaps, skin care products, natural-based cleaning products, and even locally sourced ice cream.

Visit this special place Tuesday through Saturday, 10AM to 2PM, and Thursdays 10AM until 5:30PM. The Market at Buckley Farm is located at 25 Boonshill Rd Fayetteville, TN 37334.
