"Hey Y'all" from the Supermercado in Shelbyville, TN!

Talk about an international experience right in our own backyard, we found just the spot at the Supermercado in Shelbyville. We love shopping at international grocery stores to add variety and creative choices to our pantry. 

At the busiest intersection in Shelbyville is the Supermercado, an impressive fully stocked international grocery store featuring quality fruits, vegetables, meats, staples and seasonings. 

I have to say this is the cleanest grocery store, with a professional staff busy sweeping and keeping the shelves in neat order. The fruits and vegetables were displayed beautifully as were the meat and seafood cases. 

While we were there a fresh container of Ceviche was put out right in front of me. Will the temptations never end?

Supermercado also features a full-service restaurant, which was very busy at the time of our visit. We stuck to our shopping this time, but guarantee we will be back to eat.

The main attraction at this store was the staff. While tending to their tasks they took the time to assist. Thanks to the gentleman who helped me find gelatin, the choice wasn’t easy with so many flavors. A business is only as good as its staff, so kudos on a great job Shelbyville Supermercado!  

We look forward to returning when we are in Shelbyville again.
