don't just travel tennessee, experience tennessee!
At Experience Tennessee, our motto isn’t just a catchy tagline—it’s our mission. We believe travel should be more than checking destinations off a list. It should be immersive, memorable, and rooted in authentic local experiences.
That’s why everything we do is designed around helping you truly experience Tennessee. From hidden gems and historic landmarks to outdoor adventures and locally owned shops, we focus on the moments that make travel meaningful.
To bring this vision to life, we’ve partnered with some of our favorite content creators across South Central Tennessee. Together, we showcase the heart of our region through real stories and real experiences—whether it’s antiquing in small towns, exploring rich Tennessee history, enjoying the great outdoors, or discovering the charm of local mom-and-pop businesses.
Through their eyes—and ours—you’ll see exactly what we mean when we say, "Don't just travel Tennessee… Experience Tennessee."

vintage remnants
Founded by Remy Watters, this Franklin, Tennessee-based small business is a one-woman operation built on creativity, sustainability, and a passion for giving new life to old things.
Remy’s journey began in March 2020, when she and her husband packed everything they owned into a two-door Cadillac and drove across the country from Northern California to Middle Tennessee. Arriving in Franklin at the start of the pandemic, they faced an unexpected challenge—furnishing an empty home when buying furniture wasn’t exactly easy. So, Remy turned to Facebook Marketplace, spending hours hunting for affordable pieces to fill their space.
What started as necessity quickly became opportunity.
Today, Vintage Remnants is a thriving business focused on sourcing, refinishing, and reselling vintage and antique furniture. Remy does it all—from finding unique pieces and restoring them to photographing, listing, and delivering each item. Her work reflects a deep commitment to sustainability, proving that beautiful, functional furniture doesn’t have to come from a big-box store.
Vintage Remnants also tells a bigger story—one that reflects the growth and movement happening across Tennessee. As more people relocate to the region, businesses like Remy’s are helping shape homes, spaces, and communities with character and charm.
We’re proud to partner with Vintage Remnants as a content creator who brings authenticity, creativity, and a true sense of place to everything she shares. Through her lens, you’ll discover not just furniture but stories, craftsmanship, and a fresh way to experience Tennessee.

Pretty Old Places
Created by Amy Edmiston, this beloved digital scrapbook captures the beauty, history, and character of historic homes and forgotten places across Tennessee and beyond.
Amy’s passion for historic places began early, shaped by childhood trips exploring old homes and battlefields with her family. What once felt like simple outings grew into a lifelong appreciation for architecture, history, and the stories hidden within weathered walls. During the pandemic, she turned that passion into something more—traveling the backroads in search of “hidden gems” and sharing her discoveries online.
What started as a creative outlet quickly grew into a thriving community. Today, Pretty Old Places has thousands of followers who eagerly await each new post—drawn in by Amy’s photography, storytelling, and her ability to bring history to life. For her, it’s not just about capturing an old house—it’s about uncovering the people, moments, and memories that once filled it.
Amy describes her work as a kind of “historic detective” journey, piecing together clues to tell the stories behind each place. Whether it’s a grand Southern home or a long-forgotten structure along a quiet country road, each discovery offers a glimpse into Tennessee’s rich and layered past.
We’re proud to partner with Pretty Old Places as a content creator who inspires travelers to slow down, take the scenic route, and see the beauty in places often overlooked. Through her lens, you’ll find that history isn’t just preserved in museums—it’s waiting along the backroads.
Because sometimes, the most meaningful way to experience Tennessee… is to look back.

Drew Climbs walls
We're all about discovering the people who make our region unforgettable—and Drew, known online as Drew Climbs Walls, is one of those people. Based out of Columbia, Tennessee, Drew is a photographer, rock climber, and advocate who is redefining what the outdoors looks like in South Central Tennessee.
Drew’s journey into climbing started in an unexpected way—watching the documentary Free Solo and wondering if climbing was even possible. Not seeing many people who looked like him represented in the sport, he decided to try it anyway. What began as curiosity quickly turned into passion. Today, climbing isn’t just a hobby—it’s a lifestyle that has transformed how Drew experiences the world.
Through climbing, Drew discovered a deeper connection to the outdoors, a love for travel, and a growing community of like-minded adventurers. Whether he’s exploring Tennessee’s natural landscapes, documenting climbs through photography, or hitting the road in a converted adventure van, Drew brings a fresh and authentic perspective to outdoor recreation in the region.
But beyond the climbs and the views, Drew’s impact runs deeper. As a full-time social worker and advocate, he uses his platform to promote inclusivity and remind others that the outdoors—and climbing in particular—is for everyBODY. His message is simple but powerful: you belong here.
We’re proud to partner with Drew as a content creator who inspires others to step outside their comfort zone, explore Tennessee’s natural beauty, and see themselves reflected in the adventure.
Because sometimes, the best way to experience Tennessee… is to climb a little higher.
