Tennessee is the most beautiful state in the country. Okay, well, that statement is likely a little biased; however, I will stand ten toes down to defend it. Anyway, to celebrate that beauty, we have curated the Experience Tennessee Mural Trail.
One of my favorite side quests at Bonnaroo is taking in the art. It’s everywhere, from the walls of Centeroo to the installations in Outeroo. If you think about it, art is as much a part of the festival as music is.

Over the past decade, Tennessee has experienced an incredible public art movement. Artists and communities have come together to paint colorful murals across the region, turning small towns and downtown districts into open-air galleries. Many of those projects were led through our friends at DMA-events, an organization founded by Coffee Countians whose very first mural project was painted right here in Manchester.
If you’re looking for an adventure beyond The Farm, here are some must-see murals located within about an hour of Manchester. And if you really want to chase art across the Volunteer State, be sure to check out the full Experience Tennessee Mural Trail.
