For more than 15 years, Perry County’s free outdoor concert series Music on Main has brought the community together for live music every other Saturday night in June and July.

With a talented lineup of musicians, Music on Main transforms Perry County into a hub for live music, perfect for those long summer nights. So mark your calendars, bring your picnic blankets and lawn chairs and sing along to the melodies of the remaining shows this concert season.
The Music on Main venue
Music on Main alternates between two notable locations. The historic Perry County Courthouse in Linden takes the stage as the backdrop for the musical repertoire. The Colonial Revival-style building has been on the National Register for Historic Places since 1995, and bands set up on the courthouse steps, complete with lights and a makeshift stage.

The Long Park Amphitheater, located in Lobelville, is Music on Main’s newest addition. With state-of-the-art acoustics and a comfortable lawn—formerly the back porch of a local family—the amphitheater is prime real estate for the community to enjoy a personal and immersive musical experience.
This outdoor venue offers opportunity to do a little shopping, too. Local vendors set up tents to house their artisanal goods, and local businesses remain open for shoppers to peruse their wares. For those who arrive hungry, there are food tents are set up to provide snacks and meals.
The Music on Main lineup
Music on Main showcases a diverse range of musical talent, with performances from local talents to suit every taste. Music on Main features an eclectic mix of artists who are sometimes up-and-coming and run the gamut of rock, country and blues.
Music On Main is entirely free to attend. This commitment to accessibility allows the community and visitors both to come together and enjoy live music.
