Remembering Eli
Eli Grow, the youngest of four boys in the Grow family, left an indelible mark on those who knew him. His love for the outdoors, passion for sports, and boundless enthusiasm for life illuminated every room he entered. Eli’s infectious smile was his trademark, a reflection of his kind and compassionate nature.A self-driven athlete with an unwavering determination, Eli's commitment to excellence both on and off the field was unparalleled. From the crack of dawn until the late hours of the night, he tirelessly honed his skills as a quarterback, fueled by an inner fire to push himself to new heights. His dedication to his craft extended beyond personal achievement, as he generously shared his time and wisdom with his teammates, nurturing a sense of camaraderie and unity among them.
A Dream Cut Short:
Tragically, Eli’s promising journey was cut short on April 30th, 2016, as he made his way home from football conditioning. In a heartbreaking accident just miles from home, Eli’s life was taken from us far too soon. Yet, his legacy of resilience, perseverance, and the pursuit of excellence lives on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Eli harbored a dream of providing his teammates and peers in Middle Tennessee with access to world-class athletic experiences. His vision, to level the playing field and ensure that every aspiring athlete had the opportunity to thrive, continues to inspire us today.
At the Eli Grow Legacy Foundation, we are committed to realizing Eli’s vision by empowering high school athletes with the resources and support they need to succeed.
