Bell Buckle’s Inaugural Songwriters’ Festival: A Day of Music and Creativity


The Bell Buckle Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce its inaugural Songwriters’ Festival, taking place on Saturday, September 16th. Set against the picturesque backdrop of the Bell Buckle Stage Lot grounds, this event promises a day filled with music, creativity, and interactive fun for all ages.


Event Schedule:


11:00 AM: The Festival Grounds Open


11:00 AM - 12:15 PM: The day kicks off with the first set of eight talented songwriters gracing the Bell Buckle Stage. Each will perform a 10-minute set featuring their original compositions.


12:15 PM - 1:30 PM: The second set of eight songwriters takes the stage, continuing the melodic journey with their unique songs.


1:30 PM - 2:45 PM: The third set of eight songwriters rotates onto the Bell Buckle Stage, ensuring a continuous flow of musical inspiration throughout the day.


2:45 PM - 3:00 PM: Take a 15-minute intermission, during which the Webb Singers will treat the audience to the National Anthem.


3:00 PM - 3:30 PM: Witness the excitement as three songwriter finalists showcase their talent on stage.


3:30 PM - 4:15 PM: Get ready for the Bell Buckle Jingle contest, where five finalists will perform their catchy jingles live. The audience gets to vote for their favorite, making it an interactive and engaging experience.


4:15 PM - 5:30 PM: Radio SoBro takes over with Round One of their Songwriters Session. Ralston Wells, the emcee from Nashville’s Radio SoBro, will host up to six professional songwriters/entertainers on the Bell Buckle Stage.


5:30 PM - 6:00 PM: Participate in a Crowd Songwriting Exercise, where audience members can contribute ideas while songwriters work their magic, demonstrating how a song comes to life.


6:00 PM - 7:15 PM: Radio SoBro returns for Round Two of their Songwriters Session, featuring more talented artists from Nashville.


7:15 PM - 7:45 PM: The highly anticipated moment arrives as the winners of the Bell Buckle Songwriters Festival and Jingle Competition are announced on the Bell Buckle Stage.


Throughout the day, don’t forget to explore the songwriter tents, craft vendors, and delicious food trucks on site. This event is not only about enjoying music but also about celebrating the creativity of songwriters and engaging with the talented artists of Nashville.
